She Wants forms as a band in 2016 in the outskirts of Rome and what has to be said about them is that they spend more than a year touring live clubs in Rome, playing a lot of unreleased material and trying to improve their live performances. The band’s style could be considered “alternative rock“ with a heavy presence of guitar, synths in the background and a strong inclination for melodies. They’re influenced by elements from 80s new wave and post punk, the 90s alternative rock scene, both English and American, early 2000s indie sounds, electronic music and the most recent emo trap . Their aim is to reach a personal sound, simple, spontaneous and imperfect. Following some line up changes, in 2018 the band records their first album, named ‘’You’re Not The Only One’’, totally self-produced. For the rest of 2019 they’re back playing live clubs in Rome and elsewhere while they record and  release  further original material, such as the single ‘’ Big Black Moon.’’ In 2020, with the beginning of the pandemic, the band takes advantage of the time on their hands and releases a new single, ‘’Blue Nevermind’’. In November 2022, they leave for their first England tour, playing in venues such as Retro in Manchester, WSL in Sheffield, Off The Cuff and The Half Moon Putney, both in London. In December 2022 they release a remixed version of their single “Big Black Moon”, made by Omis Elegia. Currently, the band is working on new songs and planning to do as many gigs as possibile.
