Ayrshire-born Singer/Songwriter Robert Kilmurry has been performing in the
 capital for the past few years.

His recent efforts have seen him play the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for 3 years running, tour with Dave McPherson (InMe) and Jonah Matranga (Far).

Rob completed his first solo tour in the east of the U.S in summer 2016 playing shows in New York, Chicago and Wisconsin as well as recording his debut E.P in Woodstock which was released on the 17th of April 2017 to a sell out show at Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh.

He quickly made a name for himself as a known artist amongst students at Napier University, where he himself studies.

With his vast variety of original material and emotional lyrics, as well as the passion for which he performs them, Robert’s performance style really lends a human element to his music.

Having supported Number One artists such as Wretch 32, Duke Dumont and Second City, his reputation continues to grow.

STRING NINJAS

Just a guitar and violin and two bearded guys from Belfast.

String Ninjas are a Belfast based instrumental duo consisting of Fingerstyle Guitarist Gavin Ferris & Electric Violinist Mick Conlon. The unique blend of grooving, intricate fingerstyle guitar parts intertwined with virtuoso “Jimi Hendrix” styled electric violin make for the perfect storm and will leave you wanting more.

Having formed in 2017 against the backdrop of the Belfast open mic/music scene the pair quickly established themselves as a musical force to be reckoned with and have since redefined what it is to be a cover act. Their unique sound, characterised by heavy bass-lines, complex rhythms, technical solos and advanced performance techniques, has helped the ninjas stand out, transfixing viewers with their energetic live performances and warm, welcoming personalities.
