Richy Neill & The Reinforcements are an original rock band creating unique, infectious rock music from their HQ in Edinburgh

Made up of Richy Neill – lead vocals & acoustic guitar, Szymon Julian – lead guitar, Steven Wilson – Rhythm Guitar, Gary Webb – bass, and Tom Parker keeping everyone in perfect time on the drums.

Richy Neill and the Reinforcements offer up an infectious brand of unique catchy rock. Fusing raw overdriven electrics, rich acoustics, and catchy refrains that demand to be sung-a-long to”. – Hivefest 2019

Formed early in 2016 the Reinforcements took songs written by Richy for a solo looping show he was doing, (and still is) transformed them into full-on rock tracks. Within two months of forming the band began gigging, planning recordings and working on some new original songs.

Driven by the multi instrumental talent and relentless energy of Richy this creative, forward thinking band will only improve and continue to gain a following as they bring their infectious rock music and brilliant live show to more new audiences all the while continuously striving to make it better.

KINGFAST

Onstage: 7PM

Kingfast is a singer/songwriter playing pop/soul.

KingFast is a Jamaican born and Belfast raised solo artist whose soulful vocals have been gathering traction around the UK. Some more notable performances of KingFast’s include the biggest international music and film festivals. KingFast’s music is a fusion of several genres but seemingly most prominent is a cross between Pop and Soul. KingFast returned to Threshold Festival this year and also debuted at Elderflower Fields Festival.

Getintothis – “a solo singer and guitarist who packs in considerable energy and geniality to his shows. You’d have to be one very seriously miserable so and so, not to be hooked in by his Stevie Wonder-style vocals, along with that beaming, infectious smile of his.”

Bido Lito – “Stunning looped guitar acrobatics and soulful pop numbers.”

Dave Monks (BBC Introducing Merseyside) – “Wow, what a voice… very soulful.”

Planet Slop – “Simple, but powerful. He has an almost folk-ish sound mixed with some of the most soulful vocals ever heard coming out of the city. Aside from the earworm hook and KingFast’s irresistible voice, the self-created harmonies… elvate it… by the time you reach his falsetto you have all but fallen in love”
