High Fade started in late 2018 and quickly became Edinburgh’s most sought-after Funk Band. You’ll be dancing for the entire night with originals that show complete dominance and class on their instruments and covers that are reworked with zest and magic like no other.

Fronted by the powerful, versatile, and extremely talented Edinburgh established guitarist, singer, and songwriter Reece Hillis.  In his early teens, he was exposed to the sounds of the original pioneers. These include Sam Cooke, The Dixie Hummingbirds, James Brown, Al Green, Wilson picket, Johnny Cash among many many more. This fantastic duo has been gracing our stage every now and then for many years now offering an hour of the best blues and soul classics played with extreme passion from the famous Reece Hillis and his band!
