Naked Jungle is an instrumental trio featuring drums, bass, and percussion performing
 a combination of world-progressive rock-funk-jazz-jam influenced music. Their unique sound is driven by the fusion of world percussion styles, ancient instrumentation, and modern electronic instruments and techniques. This dynamic focuses the rhythm section in a “lead” role to create body moving grooves and sonic explorations that appeal to the primal spirit in everyone.
Naked Jungle originally began performing from 2001 – 2004 until other musical projects put the group on hold. Then in 2015, Naked Jungle started working on new music and performing live once again. They have performed at venues and festivals in the mid-Atlantic region including The 8×10, Gypsysally’s, Artscape, The WindUp Space, The Metropolitan, New Deal Cafe, Bethlehem Musikfest, and Karmafest to name a few. The group has performed alongside national and local touring bands ranging from jam bands, rock bands, world music and experimental performers. Their debut album “About Time” was released in late 2018.

Naked Jungle is Bryan Jones (6 string, upright, MIDI basses), Mike Kirby (acoustic drums, electronic percussion), and Ian Hesford (dumbek, barrel drums, didgeridoo, kubing, tank drums, throat singing, Flutujara).
