FATLIPS ONSTAGE: 12:30am FatLips were formed in the Scottish Borders - four fire breathing, talented, creative and well-driven musicians who put on a show that make your feet stomp and your head
FatLips were formed in the Scottish Borders – four fire breathing, talented, creative and well-driven musicians who put on a show that make your feet stomp and your head bounce. They play various styles. Modern day contemporary tunes are also thrown in the mix with a beefier kick. Neil Macleod (aka Cowboy) has gravely, ferociously sweet vocals that make heads turn. Also playing guitar and occasional slide guitar. Ben Mcintosh is one talented little s**t with his fabulous guitar, also doing backing vocals. On drums is Mic Forbes. As always, drummers are nuts and Mic is no exception, but he owns that beat and gives Fat Lips the Kick! Colin Macfarlane is a genuine GODSEND! You have no idea…
CHRIS SESAR & GILL HALLIDAY
Up and coming singer song-writers, Chris Sesar and Gill Halliday have been rapidly gaining recognition for their genre-defying repertoire, effortlessly blending Celtic folk and roots & country music with a brush of gypsy jazz. Chris Sesar’s songs paint the landscape of human relationships with gentle colours and delicate detail, sometimes bittersweet, sometimes dark and with a comic twist. Since March 2016 Chris has been touring Scottish Venues with Angus-based singer-songwriter Gill Halliday. Her intuitive use of wind instruments adds a layer of depth and versatility to the performance whilst her powerful voice delivers songs with heartfelt honesty. Individually, Chris and Gill are both brilliant vocal performers. Their harmonies, however, are nothing short of mesmerising.
