Up and coming singer song-writers, Chris Sesar and Gill Halliday have been rapidly gaining recognition for their genre-defying repertoire, effortlessly blending Celtic folk and roots & country music with a brush of gypsy jazz. Chris Sesar’s songs paint the landscape of human relationships with gentle colours and delicate detail, sometimes bittersweet, sometimes dark and with a comic twist.Since March 2016 Chris has been touring Scottish Venues with Angus-based singer-songwriter Gill Halliday.Her intuitive use of wind instruments adds a layer of depth and versatility to the performance whilst her powerful voice delivers songs with heartfelt honesty. Individually, Chris and Gill are both brilliant vocal performers. Their harmonies, however, are nothing short of mesmerising.
