Chango Munks is a six-piece multi-cultural band based in Edinburgh, who perform extremely dancey, original, high-energy Ska-Punk music with global influences.
After releasing their adrenaline-fuelled debut album ‘Something Else Is Coming’ in 2019, they’re now starting the Chango Revolution, and spreading the sound of pure unadulterated brass and sass to the masses.
You know when you’ve been Chango’d!
“One of the surprises of was Edinburgh’s Chango Munks. World music-esque with a handful of Ska-Punk threw in. In 2020, this is the Festival band you’ll be looking for if you want to dance” – Carol-Ann Woodman, Stellar line-up gets Doune to business, 26/07/19
All the sassy R&B you remember from the 90s plus fierce vocals and guitar combos. Boom!
CHRIS SESAR & GILL HALLIDAY
Up and coming singer song-writers, Chris Sesar and Gill Halliday have been rapidly gaining recognition for their genre-defying repertoire, effortlessly blending Celtic folk and roots & country music with a brush of gypsy jazz.
Chris Sesar’s songs paint the landscape of human relationships with gentle colours and delicate detail.
Since March 2016 Chris has been touring Scottish Venues with Angus-based singer-songwriter Gill Halliday.
Her intuitive use of wind instruments adds a layer of depth and versatility to the performance whilst her powerful voice delivers songs with heartfelt honesty.
Individually, Chris and Gill are both brilliant vocal performers. Their harmonies, however, are nothing short of mesmerising.
